No video of the event yet, sorry!

We will talk about KDE Plasma vision of distributing applications. The rise of alternative software distribution platforms is making us worry about issues that we thought we'd never need to worry about. Furthermore, this has been approached from very different angles and we need to make sure to stay inclusive of features while keeping the user aware of the risks each solution has.

How do we integrate the different options? How can we do to integrate the wealth of alternatives we have in GNU/Linux without overwhelming our users? How do we help distributors to offer a wholesome experience without losing grip? There's more to Linux than just the desktop, what happens when we run Plasma on a phone or a tablet?
